【摘要】:1.1Thisstandardcoversthedeterminationoftheresistancetostablecrackextensioninmetallicmaterialsintermsofthecriticalcrack-tip-openingangle(CTOAc),cand/orthecrack-openingdisplacement(COD),5resistancecurve().Thismethodappliesspecificallytofatiguepre-crackedspecimensthatexhibitlowconstraint(crack-length-to-thicknessandun-crackedligament-to-thicknessratiosgreaterthanorequalto4)andthataretestedunderslowlyincreasingremoteapplieddisplacement.Therecommendedspecimensarethecompact-tension,C(T),andmiddle-crack-tension,M(T),specimens.Thefractureresistancedeterminedinaccordancewiththisstandardismeasuredasc(criticalCTOAvalue)and/or5(criticalCODresistancecurve)asafunctionofcrackextension.Bothfractureresistanceparametersarecharacterizedusingeitherasingle-specimenormultiple-specimenprocedures.Thesefracturequantitiesaredeterminedundertheopeningmode(ModeI)ofloading.Influencesofenvironmentandrapidloadingratesarenotcoveredinthisstandard,buttheusermustbeawareoftheeffectsthattheloadingrateandlaboratoryenvironmentmayhaveonthefracturebehaviorofthematerial.1.2Materialsthatareevaluatedbythisstandardarenotlimitedbystrength,thickness,ortoughness,ifthecrack-length-to-thickness(a/B)ratioandtheligament-to-thickness(b/B)ratioaregreaterthanorequalto4,whichensuresrelativelylowandsimilarglobalcrack-frontconstraintforboththeC(T)andM(T)specimens(,).1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparentheses(English)areforinformationpurposesonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
