【摘要】:Thistestmethodcoverstheprocedurefordistillationofheavyhydrocarbonmixtureshavinginitialboilingpointsgreaterthan150?C(300?F),suchasheavycrudeoils,petroleumdistillates,residues,andsyntheticmixtures.Itemploysapotstillwithalowpressuredropentrainmentseparatoroperatedundertotaltakeoffconditions.Distillationconditionsandequipmentperformancecriteriaarespecifiedandtypicalapparatusisillustrated.Thistestmethoddetailstheproceduresfortheproductionofdistillatefractionsofstandardizedqualityinthegasoilandlubricatingoilrangeaswellastheproductionofstandardresidue.Inaddition,itprovidesforthedeterminationofstandarddistillationcurvestothehighestatmosphericequivalenttemperaturepossiblebyconventionaldistillation.Themaximumachievableatmosphericequivalenttemperature(AET)isdependentupontheheattoleranceofthecharge.Formostsamples,atemperatureupto565?C(1050?F)canbeattained.Thismaximumwillbesignificantlylowerforheatsensitivesamples(forexample,heavyresidues)andmightbesomewhathigherfornonheatsensitivesamples.Therecommendeddistillationmethodforcrudeoilsuptocutpoint400?C(752?F)AETisTestMethodD2892.Thistestmethodcanbeusedforheavycrudeoilswithinitialboilingpointsgreaterthan150?C(302?F).However,distillationcurvesandfractionqualitiesobtainedbythesemethodsarenotcomparable.Thistestmethodcontainsthefollowingannexes:AnnexA1-TestMethodforDeterminationofTemperatureResponseTime,AnnexA2-PracticeforCalibrationofSensors,AnnexA3-TestMethodforDehydrationofaWetSampleofOil,1.5.4AnnexA4-PracticeforConversionofObservedVaporTemperaturetoAtmosphericEquivalentTemperature(AET),and1.5.5AnnexA5-TestMethodforDeterminationofWettage.ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Forspecificwarnings,see6.5.4.2,6.5.6.3,6.9.3,9.5,9.7,andA2.3.1.3.
